This year’s show season kicked off at Hadleigh show in late May with strong results, including a first place for 2018-born heifer Bassingbourn Olma, a Haltcliffe Dancer daughter out of Harrison Friesia.

Bassingbourn Natasha was then third in the 2017-born heifer class, with this stylish heifer being by Ampertaine Elgin and out of Coachhouse Ighness. And Bassingbourn McFee then stood second in the class for cows or heifers with a calf at foot, with McFee being by Coachhouse Infielder and out of an imported dam. She was shown with her heifer calf, Bassingbourn Pixie at foot.

Olma and Natasha then teamed up to stand second in the pairs class.

At the Essex Young Farmers Show the same team achieved similar results, taking second with Olma and Natasha, while McFee and Pixie stood first in their class and then went on to be reserve Continental champion.
